The writer began right at the beginning of her article and used emotional appeal, by using religion, and then she later uses facts to support her statements. By reading this article, I have learned more fully on how to use emotional and logical appeal more effectively. The writer has indeed confound my expectation of rhetorical analysis by the way she uses the appeals in a certain way in order to obtain the readers attention and it showed when and where to use those appeals to make them more effective. By reading this it has not contradicted any rules or ways that I have been taught on rhetorical analysis, because the writer seem to follow the same rules. This article was a good example of a rhetorical analysis.
